I was building an edit and doing some adjustments in color, everything was going fine and then after sending one of my projects back to FCP, I noticed that one of my clips from my original timeline had gone offline.

I checked my externals and saw they were still connected, I searched for the clip and reconnected then pasted over my project from color.

Then I noticed I couldn’t close any of the tabs on my timeline and when I deleted a clip the clip still appeared on the timeline but not the viewer.

Also if I highlight a clip, when I deselect by clicking somewhere else on the timeline or another clip, the originally selected clip is still highlighted.

Finally if I mark a clip the marks appear in the viewer but the clip doesn’t highlight.

Everything else seems to be working fine and I’ve saved and am going to restart FCP, I was just wondering if this might have been triggered by something I inadvertendly did?

    thanks.

I do know that nVidia card does cause all sorts of strangeness with Color which is why it’s not recommend if you plan to use that application. No clue if that’s what happened here, but we only run ATI cards for this very reason.
