I’ve just bought Final Cut Pro and it takes about 8 minutes to open the program as it loads the 150 or so audio plug-ins that I use with my music software. Is there any way to stop the loading of these plug-ins when FC is started?

    Bob
I’d recommend you use a Audio Unit Manager to disable unneeded audio plugins when working in FCP, quite apart from the long startup delays, some can be altogether incompatible with FCP anyway.
    Try this: https://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/26693/audio-unit-manager

Thanks Andy, I’ll give that a try.
