Hi! I am new to this forum, And have not much experience in using different formats in the Final Cut Pro, I have tried to solve this problem, But do not get. If anyone can help I would appreciate much

I am trying to print the same video clip, Version PAL ntsc and also using the "print to video" from the Final Cut 6 to Sony HVR m 15U.
The computer and the recorder are connected to a standard Fire Wire cable (iLink), The material was originally recorded in HD. I am just doing the same clip HD a version DV ntsc-Anamorphic (because the material is 16:9), And another in DV — PAL Anamorphic. Then use the new clip, Encoded DV ntsc-Anamorphic, Dragging the timeline, And the easy setups I Anamorphic NTSC, And then do I print to video. The cassette came to the top 4:3, And 16:9. The same happened when they changed to the vtr PAL, And used the clip in PAL, Lost the original aspect ratio.

Now there is nothing in the record vcr, Only the first frame that stays static, And sound, But the video does not record moving.

I believe it might be a problem with the Final Cut, When looking for audio / video settings, In a / v devices, And see the playback output, Is: (missing) Apple firewire ntsc (720×480), And Las Other options are: Digital cinema desktop and "none".

There is any problem with saying "missing"?, Affects the output?

Is also set to mirror on desktop

Thank you very much for your help,

    Att juan manuel

Wait…this is a PAL HDV clip, and you are trying to export it as NTSC DV? And PAL DV? How did you convert the clip? Did you set the deck up to receive DV instead of HDV? My HDV experience is very limited, but clarifying a few things might help others.

I, too, have seen and currently see this issue. I’ve had to output my DV sequences as DV streams and then import them into Adobe Premier Pro for output to DV tape. This works BUT it’s stupid that I have to do this.
