Filters and Text Rang Selector in AE 6.5
Hi,
I’m curious if it’s possible to add an effect filter, like a blur, to a text layer and control how the filter affects the text characters by using a range selector? I’d like the filter to be controlled the same way other text properties are (like scale or skew). Thanks.

Yeah, that would be nice.
One workaround is to use an animator for the opacity of text to which a blur filter has already been applied … but it’s scarcely a replacement. 🙂
Next version of AE, maybe.
