Greetings, I purchased the MacBook Pro so I could benefit from the faster processing with Final Cut Pro. I got the new software, and then learned that all of my plug-ins (boris, etc) would work with the new version of FCP with the MBP. Has anyone heard when or if they are going to make plug-in versions for Boris products, etc. I’m still using my G4 because I live by the plug-ins. I hope someone can help.

    Thanks

I am assumiing that you realy mean they will not work

Have yyou made shure that your plug-ins are up to date
    https://www.borisfx.com/register/download/

I cant say for shure it the updates will work with the Intell procesers because I use a G5

What do you do that makes you live by plugins

Thank you for correcting my poor typing. Yes, I meant that the 3rd Party filters for FCP 5.0 on my MacBook Pro don’t work. There are many things that having the 3rd Party filters for FCP help. I use the Boris Continum complete often. Plus, being used to having them puts a cramp on me when I’m trying to work and they are not there. I hope someone can give me a viable solution.
