i have a bunch of stills that i’m trying to configure to look like they are part of a strip of film.

i’d like to make the piece of film look as if it’s a “ribbon” flying continuously through the screen, as more stills run by on it. i’ve done this effect with a piece of straight ‘film’ but never with arcs in it as if it was a ribbon of sorts.

what filters are most effective for this kind of project? does anyone know of a tutorial similar to this that i can check out?

    thanks ~

Actually, there’s a new kid at the party called Zaxwerks 3D Warp. I’ve done some filmstrip projects and other tests with it and I’m very pleased. The examples you’ll find here are part of an upcoming “first look” article I’ve done for the COW on the new plug-ins and what they can do. The article should be published soon… the movies on my personal server space may take a little while to load – please be patient. Comments and questions welcome, of course.

    Jon,

Excellent as usual. Cool moves also! Now I feel ashamed to show my examples:-)

    Salut.
