film roll out effect
I’m looking for a transition effect of the film roll out.
Let me describe, because I may be calling it the wrong thing. When when a film camera reaches the end of the roll, the last second or two has white, yellow and reddish bursts of overexposed area until the very end it all goes to white.
I am NOT looking for the blur/overexposure effect as seen on TV show commercials. I’m looking for something that is either a transition effect or video generator with overlay mode to simulate the look of the end of the roll of film.

The only way I know how to get this is to composite ACTUAL film roll out stock footage onto your shot.

The company I work for shoots lots of film, however, the demand has disappeared for us because of HD. Anyways, just like Shane said. Every time I needed that look I just grabbed it from the end of one of our film shoots. There is some stuff worth looking at on iStockphoto. Try Film End. Maybe pond5 or revostock as well.
