    Hi,
Testing the BorisFX Film look plug-ins (Trial version) for Final Cut Pro 6.

I was able to apply the De-interlace/pulldown option to about 60 seconds of standard DV NTSC footage. I like the results. However, when I tried the 29.97i to 23.9p option, it looked good in the FCP clip window, seemed to render, but then did not actually take with the clip I applied it to.

Has anyone had this problem? I thought it might be a limitation of the trial version, but their sales guy said that shouldn’t be the case.

    Hi John,

I’d like to suggest that you get in direct touch with one of our techs, who can walk you through the filter and make sure that everything is set up correctly. You can reach them via email at support@borisfx.com.

    Cheers,

    Peter.
