Film a mirror image on the XF405?
Reposted from the Canon Cameras forum, because it looked like I might get an answer faster here.
OK, so we got the XF405 (before I started working here) partially because it’s supposed to have the ability to film a mirror image of what’s in front of it. Kind of like this. We’re recording in a lightboard studio, and so everything that the subject writes on the lightboard will come out backwards to the person facing them, so we need the camera to be able to reverse the image back, which will still allow us to add in non-reversed graphics with the switcher, since it might not be easy to flip just part of the image in post.
Problem is, I can’t find the option to do this in any of the menus, on any of the buttons, in the manual, or on Google. Does it even have this ability? If so, how do I do it? Thanks.
