I am trying to add filet caps to transparent text. But you can see the intersecting geometry inside of the letters. Any ideas?

    Make sure Constrain is checked.

Hey Justin, thanks for the response!

I have done that but then I do not get the look results I am looking for. I want to keep the bolded/ rounder look but when I constrain I get a much lighter looking font.

when you turn on Fillet Caps the Constrain option becomes available – that changes the fillet process from adding size to the text to add in the fillet (which is what is causing your problem) to adding fillet by making the face (cap) smaller. Which causes it’s own problems, basically you just have to use the choice and the fillet size that gives the results you want/can live with with the font you are using.

Yes, the dreaded “crashing” fillet, which is a real nightmare in true nurbs applications.

    Solution: find a heavier font.
