Files not linking properly
I got a stringout for an editing gig and for some reason one of the two interviews has a problem connecting with its source files. The interview is all there in the source files but the timeline I was given has nothing but clips that look like that has been mislinked to shorter files. I unlink everything and relink them a couple times but since I can’t get it to show up I give up and pull all the clips down and remake the timeline by hand.
I do a rough cut but when I export all the shots from the one interview refuse to export. They just come out as black. I figured out that if you nest the files into After Effects you can still export the video so I have a work around but I would love to figure out what the hell is happening.
