When I open a project I get a message that a file could not be found. I ignore because I know it’s not part of the project.
Then I go to Project Media and click on the “Remove all unused media from project” icon and then save.
Yet when I open the project again I get the same can not find file message. What am I missing here?
    Thanks

Have you made sure all off line video events are deleted as well? I can’t think of anything else that would cause that. Maybe try deleting all missing files from project media tab as you did before and in the timeline, (Video offline) events, and save as, then check the copy source files, to a different drive, and then open it from that location? Let us know as that’s an interesting problem. Danny Hays

There are no “blank media” events on my timeline and there doing a file search with explorer both in Vegas and windows, it finds nothing like what’s it’s looking for. Strange!
