  • File Format for Omni-CinemCraft Blu-ray Encode

I’m working on a film that was captured as 1080p24 10-bit 444 with BM Multibridge Eclipse. I need to convert to a specific 422 format in order to feed an Omni-CinemCraft encoder. The documentation says something about a V200 codec or something (sorry, I don’t have it in front of me).

Does anyone know what codec will retain the most image quality compared to the 10-bit 444 and be compatible with the above Blu-ray encoder?

    Thanks!

You can export to apple component which is 4:2:2yuv uncompressed (there are losses when converting rgb to yuv) Or export to 10bit uncompressed 4:2:2 avi which I think is better, since the Apple is 8bit I think, but others can correct me on this.
