I updated my QuickTime to 7.01 without knowing it would kill my QuickTime pro requiring me to pay apple 30 more $. I tried to uninstall and finally got to a buggy and slow QuickTime 6.5. Then once I tried to import Livetype to fcp hd I got this message, File error: 1 file (s) recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown. What did i change, did i remove a codec or setting somewhere. It will import .mov but not .pr, it used too.
I have not thrown anything i put into the trash. I reupdated to 7.01 quicktime and that did not work. Please help, i will probably regrettably have to buy the quicktime pro 7.01.
    Thanks Apple,
    Art

This probably has nothing to do with the version of QT you’re running, but it probably has everything to do with how you installed & uninstalled & reinstalled QT. Either do a search here, or go to the support section of Apple.com & look up the docs on uninstalling QT 7 & reinstalling QT 6.5.x.
