Activity Forums Apple Motion File Browser/Inspector is stuck

    Just a silly idea, but this happens all the time with me when my boss (with dual 23″ cinema displays) starts a project and I need to take over (with 19″NEC displays). Have you tried restoring the default screen layout? Just incase, like you said, the pallet got moved off your screen.

    There is a MUCH easier way to fix this problem than deleting and reinstalling Motion. All you need to do is delete the user plist file (thanks to the Apple’s Motion boards for this info):

    From Finder press Shift/Command/H to go to your user account home folder.

    From your user account home folder go to Library/Preferences/com.apple.motion.plist

    I urge people to fix this problem using the 5 second fix before going to the trouble of deleting and reinstalling Motion.
