File Browser/Inspector is stuck
Posted by Patricia Stitson on May 15, 2008 at 8:40 amHi,
After having Motion up on my computer for only a short time I ‘lost’ the File Browser/Inspector, etc panel and I can’t get it back. I’ve been resorting to using a locked inspector but that is not very user friendly. Do I need to reinstall?
Any input would be appreciated.

May 15, 2008 at 9:19 pmBlast, it was worth a try. Uninstalling applications can be very difficult. Apple’s official document on how to uninstall compressor is super long. I tried to dig up Motions but it appears to be no longer available. I found this application that will do the job. I’ve never used it…so if you do end up using it let me know how it does. Hope this helps.

May 19, 2008 at 10:32 pmAppZapper and FCS Remover remove the whole program. They’re not like FCP Rescue were they only remove your Final Cut Pro preferences. Looks like we need a Motion Rescue program.

May 20, 2008 at 3:55 pmHey,
Appzapper can be found at https://www.appzapper.com/. It will unintall motion and then you can start with the FCP install disc. Installer will automatically know that Motion needs to be installed and will guide you through the process.
Hope this helps.
