Hi everyone, I dont know if this is the right forum, so Im copying it to Broadcast engineering too. Im sure someone will point me in the right direction. I am looking for a file based solution to record Air Checks/proofs of our television broadcasts. We need to record it all- 24/7/365, HD aspect is ideal, but down converted (Letterbox or Center Cut) SD acceptable. Obviously storage is a huge issue, but it doesnt have to be broadcast quality, it just needs to be watchable, retrievable, and it needs to keep the line 21 closed captions signal intact. Id guess that it would need to be able to record in segments, but not be interrupted, so that the files and sizes would be manageable when they needed to be retrieved. If you have any ideas at all, Id love to hear them. This is an open invite to pitch me your product. Id also love to hear opinions or any solutions other TV Broadcast Engineers may have had success with. Thanks in advance,
