    Hi there,

Nowadays I’m using After Effects in the English language mode in order to be able to follow most of the AE tutorials which are in English. However, I do also have a couple of text or video tutorials available that refer to the German version of the software. I actually had the German version of the AE installed and start it in english using the “-L EN” parameter for the start-shortcut. Now the problem that arises is the name of the effects and their parameters, thus I’d like to ask this:

    1) Is there a translation table somewhere that shows the name of the English and German (or other languages) effect/filter (at best even with their parameters)?
    2) If 1) does not exist, how could I find out the translations by myself, probably by looking at files? I’m studying computer science, so don’t be afraid to post “advanced” tips! 🙂
    3) The “F1” help key won’t work anymore in AE once you started it using another language. For now I’m using the online Adobe live-docs site to find help for the effects, settings and parameters in general. I guess the English version of the manual was either just not installed or probably wasn’t even included on the installation DVD. Still, do you know a way how to install the English version of the AE manual regardless?

    Kind regards
