Fight Effects help
Yes, fight effects… Might sound odd but im looking for some off the wall kung fu cheesey effects to put into a movie. Some examples would be: mid-air freezing, dissapearing and reappearing, flying across the screen (no greenscreen), super fast looking punches… etc. I’m on my way now to go figure as many as i can out but if anyone has any suggestions are previous experience with this that would be really great.

Reconsider the “no greenscreen”, it makes all those things mentioned relatively quick and easy, otherwise your left with Roto to separate your Hero from the background, search Roto. Otherwise you can do time freeze with a locked down camera, no camera moves whatsoever, with time-remapping (and roto, but only one frame), see this Andrew tut:
