when applying some sapphire pluggins to graphic psd elements i get terrible field issues that distort the image….if i apply a blend fields filter it fixes the problem but only if the blend fields filter is below the offending sappire pluggin in the filter stack.

any graphics gurus know what’s going on here?

    thanks

    Hi, Paul. See here: https://www.genarts.com/sapphire-ae-support.html#fcp-graphic

FCP can have frame corruption problems when a plug-in is applied directly to a graphic with an odd height, such as a psd or jpg image. The workaround is to nest the graphic in a subsequence, and apply the plug-in to the nest instead to the original image. Hopefully this problem will be fixed in a future version of FCP.
