Few questions about Batch Capture
Last night I successfully managed to batch capture a tape. I come from a Avid/FCP background and it was fairly similar. Went fairly smoothly but there are a few things I want to ask:
1) When I digitised I put the footage in bins but when they were moved into the project they were put into one single area and it looks like I need to create the bins again and move the footage about. It there a way of automating this, it is going to drive me crazy as I am affectively doing the same thing twice.
2) They lip sync was out when I was previewing/logging, this is irritating as a have a fairly powerful quad core AMD. It seems to be OK when capturing and playing on the timeline. Any idea how to fix this.
3) After I log the clip the in/out points are left the same and the tape keeps running. What I really want is for the in point to be cleared or set to current position and tape paused. This has led to me digitising some footage twice;(. I will have a proper look in help tonight but as I am posting the above two thought I may as well mention this.
