  • Feeding ATEM TVS sound from SDI-Analog converter

Just thought of something and wanted to know if it’s doable-
I wanna feed my ATEM TVS through its AES/EBU input.
I know about using the Behringer SRC2496 but I’m thinking of doing this:

I always feed into Camera A audio from the mixer. usually with a wireless Sennheiser G3 or a straight XLR cable. now, if i’m sending it through SDI into the ATEM i can use that sound but can’t choose which channel to use.
What i was thinking is to send that SDI to a Mini Converter SDI to Analog 4K, and taking out the audio through the AES/EBU TRS port, and feeding that into the ATEM.

    Will that work?

Will i be able to choose which channel to use in this method?

And what’s the best way to convert the 1/4″ TRS to BNC to connect to the ATEM AES/EBU port? i couldn’t find a TRS-BNC cable…
I can use TRS-X2RCA and then RCA-BNC but that way i would only get one channel in right?
