    Dear BMD,

Could you just add the UltraScope scopes into Resolve and charge me $600 more dollars for Resolve??

    Thanks

Does not seem reasonable as ultrascope is separate card and separate macine.

In resolve we would not like to have any performance loss and mac pro is limited with slots anyway.

Separate system seems more independent and does not bog machine down.

Great idea… if it’s a CUDA pig you could turn it on or off… and to add a super nerd request… add the ultra scope and also add a logging mode! So you could generate a report… have it rip through your timeline, then spit out a text file. Make a leader or tek scope unnecessary.

Well Ultrascope 1.5 already has logging, in my opinion what Ultrascope needs regardless if its in Resolve or not is some sort of RGB gamut scope ala diamond display or Harris eye pattern. Granted those are patented displays I’m sure the brian trust at Blackmagic could come up with a way of visualizing RGB upper/lower gamut issues other then a parade.

As a bonus a lightening type display would also be useful.

Then a Decklink 3D with built in Ultrascope would be nice. With extra SDI input .
