  Feature Film Edited entirely in FCPX

  Greetings all,

  Just thought I’d hop on and make a little post about the film that I just finished. Called “Cold Lights” this is a small independent science fiction film that we made for a shoestring budget of $3000 dollars. Shot predominantly on a Canon 60D, we had a skeleton crew of one or two guys most days with our cast filling in as much as they were willing. Everyone worked for free.

  I thought everyone here would be interested in that this film was edited entirely in FCPX, as well as all the special effects, including levitation, spaceship lighting and dozens of other unique SFX shots.

  This was edited between september 2012 and early december 2013 so Pre-10.1.
