    Hi
    I just got the new Final Cut Pro and the Sony HDR-HC7

    I was wondering if anyone was an expert on or knew what capture settings i would set my camera for? HD 1080i60 or an Umcompressed format (if so which one) or Pro Res (again, which one)?

    That camera shoots HDV so use the appropriate HDV easy set up.

    If you wish to capture to uncompressed or to a different format other then HDV like ProRes or DVC PRO HD you will need a capture card like a AJA Kona for your tower.
