FCPX/Mavericks/Sapphire 7950 GPU Performance
Hey gang,
I’m in between projects at the moment and have an ideal time to possibly upgrade from Mountain Lion to Mavericks. With its new OpenCL integration and compressed memory, I think it could give a much needed boom to FCPX.
I use FCPX on a 2010 8-core Mac Pro with 28GB of RAM and have an AMD Sapphire 7950 3GB graphics card installed. I’ve been hearing mixed reports of graphics performance with this card in Mavericks. Anyone have any pos/neg experience?

After upgrading from a GTX 570 to that card it’s been a huge boost. This fcpx benchmark test from Alex4D is a good way to test performance.
