FCPX wont let me create a new folder in the project library?
Bit confused to why I’m suddenly not allowed to create a new folder in the project library?
Does anyone have an explanation?

You’re not really giving enough info. In order to create a folder in the Event Library, you have to have either an event, collection or folder selected.
If you’re doing that and still having issues, then what exactly are you seeing?
