FCPX transitions changes color temperature midway
Hi there
Noticing that final cut transitions (fade to color and crossfade) are causing a shift in color temperature in the clips either midway or just as it starts. The image moves from a cool grade to a undesired warm grade.
Footage is from Sony Fs7, effects are default color correction and cold aura. Aggravating factor is that the clip also displays this behaviour even when the transition is moved as if it is hard coded into the footage itself.
Has anyone encountered this before? And what was your solution to it?

Both in previews and outputs, which is the main reason why it is so perplexing. On an unrelated note, we are noticing random ‘pixelation’ effect on 4K footage from Fs7 as well. Again, seeming occurring either in middle or at the start/end of the transitions.

This could be a shot in the dark but is it possible there is a codec/camera firmware mismatch?
What version of FCP X are you on?

Yep- would do full updates on the camera and the plugin.
