FCPX-Suddenly appearing audio fails
Suddenly, my favorite CrumplePop audio plugins don’t work. Built-in noise reduction now faulty with ‘fade in’ over a few seconds at the beginning and again at the beginning of every clip. Those fade-ins even appear on the rendered output. Sometimes, just playing audio with no plug-ins the audio will fade up from quiet to full volume starting at any play head position. I can find nothing in my searches where other people are affected in this way. CrumplePop hasn’t responded yet (just asked yesterday) but I can find nothing about their plug-ins failing. I’m up to date on them as well. I’m working on the latest Mac Pro with the latest OS. I’ve gone through my system looking for any recent update or install but nothing since before the problems started. All failures have to do with audio (that I’ve found). I’ve gone through maintenance routines on the Mac and deleted FCPX preferences. SOMETHING is affecting the audio performance of FCPX. Any clues?
