FCPX – subtitles stay on the bottom even though I have moved them
Having an exporting issue with movies with subtitles. I will raise subtitles up to avoid things like graphics or lower thirds, and they used to export in the position I put them, but they now all just go back to the bottom. I was using the baseline adjustment to move them up. I have done this successfully quite a few times and now it stopped working and I don’t know why. GRR!

Try to export as XML and re-import.
Also file a bug. There are several oddities with titles.– Andreas
