Posted by Craig Seeman on November 6, 2019 at 1:24 pmTomorrow’s Final Cut Pro X Creative Summit will feature ‘surprises from the Apple product team’
https://9to5mac.com/2019/11/06/tomorrows-final-cut-pro-x-creative-summit-will-feature-surprises-from-the-apple-product-team/Will it be enough to keep some from moving to Resolve especially without BRAW support?

November 7, 2019 at 5:25 pmIsn’t everyone at the Creative Summit under NDA? If so, how long will it be until that NDA is lifted or Apple shares the surprise with the rest of the world?

November 7, 2019 at 5:30 pm[Michael Hancock] “Isn’t everyone at the Creative Summit under NDA?”
That’s not a surprise, that’s a secret!
Here’s my guesses:
“Surprise! FCP XI”
“Surprise! FCPX is no longer being developed!”
“Surprise! We bought Adobe”
“Surprise! iPhone 11 Pro, now shoots ProRes RAW straight to the cloud on all three lenses simultaneously…!”
“Surprise! … Jeremy G is a cynic.”
“Surprise! This isn’t a surprise.”

Apple Adobe Premiere Pro has an interesting ring to it.
I am an Avid fan of making the Final Cut on Resolve so the video will not be boring.

November 8, 2019 at 9:37 amLo and behold: finally the release of the MacPro! With an upgrade from a 256 GB SSD to 512 GB SSD for only 999$!
Now seriously: isn’t it likely the MacPro?

November 8, 2019 at 11:46 amThe NDAs must run deep this year. There’s very little being posted about the event from the usual quarters.

November 8, 2019 at 7:21 pmWell, it just started yesterday. They are probably having too much fun or are just too busy in sessions.

November 10, 2019 at 11:51 pmAny insights form the summit? I know there’s NDAs involved but can any participants characterize the Apple presentation in any way? Impressed? Unimpressed? As always, the lack of intel from the FCPX is not reassuring. Just looking for a crumb or two…
