November 11, 2019 at 8:42 pmAt least one can say Apple clearly doesn’t want anything revealed at this point.
Personally I find it odd not to reveal any features that Apple would be adding that already exist in other NLEs (there’s no competitive advantage to the secret) such as adding a Tracker.Of course any “killer innovations” Apple may not want to be leaked because, as we can see, some features in FCPX are copied by other NLE developers.
The problem with not talking about catch up features may result in people moving to other NLEs like Resolve.
When it comes to FCPX, some may feel Apple’s secretive nature may put it at a further competitive disadvantage.
With Resolve’s public betas and Adobe’s announcements before a release, even if it’s just perceptual, the other NLEs give the appearance of faster development.

Since saying they are under NDA is already a violation of your NDA, they should just spill the beans! LOL -
