  FCPX Auto Colour Preview Problem

  Hi Im new to this forum and found it trying to find an answer to a problem Im having with Final Cut Pro X. Hopefully someone on here can help out.

  I’ve stumbled across a “problem” that I just can’t seem to figure out. When I’m editing clips and want to preview them, the previews come out very dark. I don’t get this. It seems that the entire color scheme is being pushed off balance.

  However, the stills on the timeline stay intact. The colors in the timeline are what it should look like. But then in the preview box everything looks real dark. If anyone has a solution to this please let me know!

  I have installed two different versions of FCPX and still have this problem. I’m on a Macbook running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and using avi files off a Nikon DSLR.
