Just wondering what you think the integration might be here. With Apple putting iMovie on the iPad, you’d think they would have something in store for iPad/FCPX compatibility. (Afterall, Adobe made parts the entire CS5.5 iPad compatible)

Obviously, it’s not going to be the whole program. But what do you think will happen?

My guess/hope is the iPad will serve as a dedicated color wheel for 3-way color correction.

    Any thoughts?

There’s Tangent Wave vWaveLite for the current version of Color
    https://www.tangentdevices.co.uk/products_vwave.asp

It would be nice to see an equivalent for FCPX but there’s no indication yet about color wheels in FCPX or whether there will be a more feature rich Color program or integrated feature set as of yet.

Cool. Didn’t know about Tangent. Thanks for the link.

Have you seen iMovie on iPad? It’s amazing. If they can do that, I don’t see that at least a meaningful subset of the new version of Final Cut would be particularly tough.

Of course, they may feel that they already have a meaningful subset of Final Cut on the iPad with iMovie! 🙂
