September 2, 2020 at 1:12 amIs this a new feature? Select any project in the browser and hit the space bar. It loads that project directly into the timeline and starts playing in the viewer. Never saw that before.

“This was something that was present on Mojave, but not Catalina, and it now seems to be back.

Thanks. I’ve been running on Mojave, but I guess I just never hit that combination. Cool.

September 2, 2020 at 3:59 pmThanks for the heads up on that. I’m finally on my new Mac Pro and running Cat. Still learning my way around. That’s a nice feature.

September 3, 2020 at 11:10 pmA colleague has a slew of REDs and his Komodo footies are not loading in Avid MC.
I don’t have all the specs but I am sure he’s Catalina with the latest MC. -

September 4, 2020 at 4:42 pmMy bad in regards to my report on Avid and Komodo.
The client was using a beta of Avid.
I only brought it up since Ive been hearing a lot of issues with both FCPX and Avid in regards to dealing with new camera codecs. -

September 7, 2020 at 11:15 pmStill missing:
Batch syncing
Color markers
Better keyframes ?
Motion integration
With that said, a nice update especially when it comes to a proxy workflow.
