    Hi
    Does anybody have this “bug” in the 10.3.(1) where you cannot see ‘through edits’ on a video-only clips if the timeline is in the Waveforms only view mode? When I add a cut, it is there but there is no visual feedback. And there may be some ghost cuts, I mean it draws the dotted line but in the place where there’s no actual cut. I tested that on 2 different macs (iMac & MacBookPro), tried different OS versions (El Capitan & Sierra) but it’s all the same…

    Yes, I had this happen a couple of times. Not clear what causes it. I usually quit/restart FCP right away, which seems to fix it.

    Unfortunately in my case this is not some random UI glitch. Nothing seems to fix it: restart, reinstall, change OS, change computer, trash prefs, delete cache, different versions of ProVideoFormats, different codecs… It’s a bug, reproducible on every machine I have access to. But is it the same for everyone?
