August 18, 2007 at 4:49 pmYikes. I’m just saying it works, so let’s try and get to the bottom of it. No?

August 18, 2007 at 4:59 pmWhen did this feature go south on you? Are you sure it’s a frame size issue vs. a timebase issue? QT changes the display of various formats based on settings and codec (7.1+ has this whole thing abut Aperture Display Modes), but it doesn’t change the actual frame size unless you tell it to, does it?
FCP4.5 and QT7.2 does not show the problem here.

10.4.9, QT 7.1.6 here.

August 18, 2007 at 5:07 pmTHis feature went south on my After July 24. I exported two self contained movies and took those to a post facility for output. All was fine. 960×720…no rendering when I reimported.
Then ONE WEEK LATER I went to output a separate item…same codec, DVCPRO HD. Only this time it didn’t work. Exported 1280×720 QT that needed to be rendered when I brought it back in.
I updated NOTHING…which is why I am perplexed.
FCP 5.1.2, QT 7.1.3

Jeremy, you said you exported them, but in what codec(s)? did you do a QT out, current settings, customize your own? just curious…
thanks again!
