    Hey guys. This is my first post here so please go easy on me.
    I’ve just inherited a Sony MEU-WX2 and Monitor from a co-editor who has left for greener pastures. We both have identical systems-G5/FCP 5.1.4/and a Blackmagic card editing mostly HD 10801.

    I’ve changed the video playback in FCP to the Blackmagic card HDTV 1080i 25Hz setting and external video to All Frames. The monitor says its in sync but I’m getting a black screen.

    any ideas?
