FCP7 upgrade – I really recommend you try this
If you press Control-Option-Command-8 you can pretend you’re using FCP8. Weeeeee!
It works best if you put the invert clip on everything in the timeline first.
It even instantly makes the red render bars turn green. Feel that 64-bit power! Revel in the sensible timeline! -

I am as guilty as anyone, but I think this forum is going off the rails on a crazy train.

I think this entire industry is on the crazy train at present. And having been on it for years myself I should know. I wake up twice a week in a sweat thinking that, while I was asleep, a new compression technology has taken hold, that everyone is using it, and that I am the last one to know.

Much easier on the eye, especially Finder. Thanks for the tip because it makes other software much easier too. Pity it can’t be more useful in FCP. Scopes are crazy.
