    Hey Everyone,

I recently pulled out my AJA Kona 3 for a Decklink Extreme 3D+ to use with Resolve, and in so doing I’ve encountered a problem I have not seen with the Kona.

When rendering out a sequence in FCP7, or even a selection of unrendered media, more often than not I get Out of Memory from FCP7. If I turn off my video output (Command+F12) and try again, more often than not it renders perfectly.

    Why?

My system is otherwise stable and have had no issues in other applications. I have updated and properly installed the latest drivers and still I’m getting strange glitches. (i.e.: sometimes the video in the monitor is all blue/pink/wrong and in the viewer it’s fine).

Is anyone out there having the same issue? Sequence has no large stills (round tripped from Color so everything is ProRes422).

New 8-Core MacPro, 32GB RAM, Raedon 5770 and Quardo 4000, Decklink Extreme 3D+, OSX SL 10.6.8, connected to ethernet server running FCServer.
