  FCP7 Multicam cuts the video but not the audio for each clip

  Hi, I’m using the multicam tool and my clips all have their own audio. When I cut, I want to cut the audio and the video, not just the picture, and I’ve made sure that in the Playhead Sync drop down I have Video+Audio selected. I have a blue/green box around each clip and start multicam editing, but when I finish, only the picture has cut to the timeline with the audio from the clip I choose as my opening shot. In other words, subsequent clips appear on the timeline, but only the video part of them; the audio from clip one continues all along the timeline underneath the new cuts.

  Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?
