FCP7 FXbuilder and FXscript effects… Time Displacement
hi there. interesting one here. I’ve always wanted to achieve the highly detailed time displacement effect in FCP7. I know it’s easy in AE but I cannot afford it. You CAN do it manually with cropping in FCP but this isn’t by each row/column of pixels (like AE) as FCP only allows 100 tracks on the timeline (and that way is madly time consuming too). So yeah, just wondering really, surely there is a way to code in with FXscript a time displacement effect… I know you can download a plugin with the effect but it is no where near as detailed as AE. If anyone has, or knows the basis of the code that’d be amazing to know. It’s such a shame Apple haven’t documented more of the development processes with such a great coding format…
