  FCP7 – Beach Ball alot after Mountain Lion on sequence-sequence editing…

  Have edited a 7 min XDCAM video.
  I insert this sequence into a new sequence, I’m adding names of people, im doing this by cutting the sequence, duplicating, adding blue to the duplicated, then adding text over it (so a blurred lower third).

  When nesting the text, duped blurred layer, I get the beach ball of death for around 10mins! It does do it, just taking a very loooong time.

  I have trashed prefs, repaired disc permissions etc… never had this issue with Snow Leopard?

  I have a carbon copy clone of 10.6.8 – can i just wipe ML and jump back to Snowy? I am using a SSD / HDD combo on my Mac Pro…
