FCP5 Quicktime Movie Export of “Movement on Stills”

I’ve done movement on stills work several years now in FCP4 but just moved to FCP5 and am having several issues. 1. I found that FCP5 doesn’t seem to handle it as well for some reason. Like scrolling through the timeline is very hard for it even while changing the RT settings. 2. Exporting to Quicktime Movie takes FOREVER. I have a 5 minute video with music and it takes 3 hours to export! 3. In the exported movie, about half way through I start to get a few images that are very jerky with their movement. It happens more towards the end with about every 5th picture. I went back in and exported just a small 10 second clip of some of those that had the jerkiness to them and they looked fine. But when exported as a whole it selects them randomly and mostly in the second half of the movie.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi,

What are your sequence settings, and what are you outputting to? When you render your timeline does this jerkiness happen when you watch it down?
