FCP3 & SONY FX1
Hi from Downunder!
I have Final Cut Pro 3 on a 2003 G4 Imac and am having problems trying to capture 1080i HD footage from a Sony FX1. Is this possible? If so could you please point me in the right direction to do so? I’ve spent a week getting nowhere. Many thanks in advance for your help. Regards, Jock.

I’m 99% certain HDV support was not added until FCP 4.5 or later.

I’m 100% certain HDV support wasn’t added until version 5. DVCPRO HD support was added in 4.5.

yup FCP 3 was released years before HDV even came out
its like asking the current verson of FCP to work with formats that will come out several years from now
