  FCP X with P2 cards bug with more than 1 channel

  Weird bug that never existed before.

  Basically when you import a media card that was shot with 2 or more channels, FC only recognizes 1 of them and even populates the four channels built into the Panasonic cams as identical channels. Very weird symptom and FCP X started natively supporting the P2 card early in FCP X history. Before many of the other NLE apps did.

  I have kept copies of the media cards but this is preventing me from editing.

  I read that a new version of FCP X was at NAB so many they fixed it.

  Any work arounds that you can suggest.
