If I purchase a FCP X license in Apple store, can I run FCP 7.0.3 instead considering that purchase a latest version? Or if want use FCP 7.0.3 in a new machine do I have no way? I must to go to FCP X once that FPC 7.0.3 is no longer available.

[Joao Rodrigues] “If I purchase a FCP X license in Apple store, can I run FCP 7.0.3 instead considering that purchase a latest version?”

Nope. They are completely different apps. FCP 7 will not recognize the serial number from FCX. Same with FCP 6…if you buy FCP 7, you can only run FCP 7, that serial number will not work with FCP 6.

[Joao Rodrigues] “Or if want use FCP 7.0.3 in a new machine do I have no way?”

You have to buy a legitimate copy of FCP 7. Only places left to do that are e-bay and similar.

Since Apple no longer makes nor sells FCP 7…if you want to stick with FCP, you would need to go FCX. But there are other options. Avid…Premiere Pro. Both have 30 day fully functional trials so you cna check them out.
