    Hi

I’m trying to upload a couple of ProRes 422 HQ videos to YouTube, but after waiting literally over night for them to go up it now says that they must be prepared for internet streaming, thus they’re not uploaded. They are .mov files and being new to Macs i’m a little confused. It was stated that my videos must be Pro Res 422 HQ, it’s the rules! FCP X seems to have done away with the Quicktime Conversion solution which YouTube says to use.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I think your question will be better answered in the Apple FCPX Techniques forum.

Read the YouTube page specs for best video compatibility including specs and details.
ProRes is not a good choice.

Export your finished Sequence using “Current Settings”
Take that file into your compression program and create an H.264 .mp4 file.
