Is anyone using Pro Versioner and Event Manager X?

I’ve got Event Manager X watching the event and project folders of my main edit drive so that when I create a new project it automatically get’s backed up. However I’ve noticed that if use event manager to move a project/event to the hidden folder and then move it back again, Pro Versioner treats it as a new project and back’s it up accordingly.

I’m guessing this is correct if a tad annoying.

It has to be said the two remaining real gripes I have with X are (and they really annoy me) the lack of an autosave to a different location and the unified event manager.

I think you mean you have watch folders on in Pro Versioner. Just turn them off in the prefs and manually select the Events and Projects.

We’ll look into this for the next update.

    My software:
Pro Maintenance Tools – Tools to keep Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro running smoothly and fix problems when they arise
Pro Media Tools – Edit QuickTime chapters and metdata, detect gamma shifts, edit markers, watch renders and more
    More tools…

Jon I’m thinking of giving Versioner a go, but a question; project folders can get quite large with renders, etc., does Versioner only duplicate the smaller “database” files, or the whole enchilada?
