FCP X On A MBP 13″ (brand new)
Can anyone tell me if the latest MBP 13″ would be a good machine for travel/field use and for learning FCP X? I’m on a Mac Pro w/ FCP 6 now and entrenched with projects. Don’t want to update to Snow Leopard and FCP X until things slow down a bit (summer is very busy as I’m in the Outer Banks and it’s a summer destination) so o thought I’d pick up the 13″, even though it’s tiny, to learn on and use for small projects and travel as well as field work.
Has anyone been using FCP X on one yet? Lemme know your experience!

I would say no. My 4-core iMac i5 with 16GB ram stalls like crazy.
